Argon briefing updates in SE Asia

Argon has just returned from an 11-day trip to South East Asia, visiting existing and potential customers in Singapore, Thailand and Malaysia.

The primary purpose of this series of meetings and presentations was to demonstrate how the PlumeSIM wide area field exercise system can be used to enhance the use of the growing range of Argon simulation instruments, and provide complementary equipment instruction for multiple personnel over extended training areas in any environment.

The PlumeSIM system allows exercise planners to create and control virtual chemical and radiological release scenarios on user selected mapping at any location.  These scenarios are broadcast to GPS tracked trainees in the field, causing simulation instrument activation to engender appropriate learning responses in real time.  With instrument use recorded, fully featured After Action Review functions enable accurate assessment of individual, group and wider response capabilities.

The success of the visits was only made possible through the able assistance and organisational efforts of local partner companies Altrus Pte. Ltd. (Singapore), GH International Co. Ltd. (Thailand), and APP Systems Sdn. Bhd. (Malaysia), and the enthusiastic reception of the individuals and organisations who made available the time and personnel to receive Argon's briefing updates.  Many thanks to all of you for your hard work, kind hospitality and generous participation.
